When I became a believer over 20 years ago, I knew right away that I wanted to be a missionary. And I did. My family and I moved to the foothills of the Himalayas. I shared the great love of God with the unreached people groups. God's Word sustained me through the years of trials and persecution during my time as a career missionary.

Fast Forward to 2020 when we were back in the United States for furlough, CPS showed up at our door, the children's father was removed, and then I was served with divorce papers. All my dreams shattered overnight. I had no choice and life needed to move on. As I struggled through the most difficult season in my life, I leaned onto my faith and the scriptures that were hidden in my heart. I wanted to remind myself God delights in me no matter what (Zephaniah 3:17). I needed the courage to become a woman clothed in strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25). I grounded myself in the truth that God is close to the broken-hearted (Psalm 34:18).

With the burning desire deep in my heart to further the Gospel, I decided to use my artistic talent and design ability to spread His Word with Scripture Wall Art. That was the birth of my Once Upon A Tree Wall Art Shop.

Transitioning from traditional art to digital art, I am still learning every day. But my heart is full knowing that my works are spreading the love of God. My hope is that my talent in arts and design will help God's Word to take root in your heart, and will bring you hope and Joy in our Saviour Jesus Christ.
